Who doesn’t need a hug every now and again? ‘The Hug’ is a children’s picture book of two characters in search of a hug and goes about this task asking someone for a hug. One question I could ask is ‘Is this an appropriate thing to ask someone in everyday society?’ This children’s book is written by Eoin McLaughlin and Polly Dunbar. This is the story of Hedgehog and turtle. These are the ones in search of an elusive hug and finding a hug and a friend. These two find a lot of forest animals and ask this question. Do they get their hugs. One must read the story to find out.
